Boarding

Teikyo boarders talk about enjoying being part of a community, building friendships, learning to be independent and being able to access a wide range of opportunities. Parents can be reassured that their sons and daughters are receiving the very best of pastoral care whilst living in a very secure environment with plenty of open space and fresh air.

Teikyo boarding encourages firm friendships to develop, lasting throughout School and beyond. It offers the opportunities for students to take on leadership roles, learn a keen sense of community and develop skills of caring and sharing. Older students mentor younger students.

Evenings and weekends are structured to ensure that time is allowed for academic studies, co-curricular activities, further enrichment, and sports. Weekend trips into London are very popular, visiting museums, galleries, and other famous places. The boarding house is also a place for rest and contemplation. All students enjoy individual accommodation in respect of their privacy.

Boarding at Teikyo is an exciting experience, ably supported by duty staff, resident tutors, and welfare professionals. We take special care to ensure that children whose parents are overseas feel at home.
